Performer/Participation Sign-up 2024

Interested in performing/participating during Asian Heritage Month in May 2024? Please fill out all required information to be selected by our committee. Please fill out all fields accurately to ensure our committee has sufficient information to make selections. Links to your YouTube page or videos to social media pages will assist the selection committee in understanding your performances and increases your chances of being selected.

We are participating at Taste of Asia – Asian Pop Fest! by Foodtrip again! There will be a lot more noise than usual with food trucks and more people at The Forks, please keep that in mind if you plan to perform with musical instruments that may not have sufficient amplification.

Please be advised that our goal is to offer ample opportunities for all performers to have stage time. Therefore, we kindly request that individuals involved in multiple performances or groups LIMIT THEIR PARTICIPATION TO A MAXIMUM OF TWO PERFORMANCES over the weekend.

Please be patient, you will be notified if and when you/your group are selected. We will not be contacting individuals/groups that are not selected.

Once selections and schedules are completed, there will be no changes or swapping of time slots. If you cannot make your scheduled time slot, please contact the event coordinator ASAP.

Inappropriate language or behaviour towards the selection committee, other Asian Heritage Society of Manitoba volunteers, or other participants will result in a ban from participating in future Asian Heritage Society of Manitoba events.

How long is your performance (in minutes)? Each group/performer is allowed (approximately 7-15 minutes). Preference is given to performances that follow the 7-15 minute guideline. If more performance duration time is required please write in the, Other Comments field, why more time is required, and our selection committee will review.
