Mariko Tamaki is the author of Unicorn Power! and The Moon is Up of the Lumberjanes series. She will talk about the world of Miss Qiunzella Thiskwin Penniquiqul Thistle Crumpet’s Camp for Hard-core Lady Types and the adventures of Jo, April, Molly, Mal, and Ripley who love their summers at camp where they earn Lumberjane scout badges, annoy their no-nonsense counselor Jen and go on supernatural adventures. Mariko has received Prince and Caldecott honours for her book This One Summer. She ha salso written for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tomb Raider, Hulk and Supergirl.
