Learn the art of stand-up comedy with the hilarious Vōng Shō! Originally from Winnipeg and now based in Toronto, Vōng had a big 2025 here—leading workshops and headlining shows—and he’s back for 2026!
Vōng Shō is the official spokesperson for gay, super cute Asians, spreading enlightenment through laughter! Founder of Comedy Cares and creator of RICE: Asian Comedy Showcase, Vōng also serves as Chair of the JUNOs Comedy Album of the Year Committee. You may have seen him on CBC, CTV, OutTV, and MTV Logo.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves comedy and wants to write jokes, develop their comedic voice, and prepare material for an open mic night.
